A healthcare provider in Dorchester is seeking a Facilities Support Worker to join the Facilities Team. This role involves cleaning, portering, and catering tasks to ensure effective patient-focused services. The ideal candidate should be motivated and capable of working both independently and within a team. The position offers part-time hours with opportunities for additional work, training, and uniform.
An opportunity has arisen at Forston Clinic to join the Facilities Team as a Facilities Support Worker, with the emphasis on the cleaning and portering. Applicants should be enthusiastic, motivated and able to work as part of a team and also on their own. This position is for 11 hours per week and will include alternate weekends for which enhancements will be paid. There will be scope for additional hours to cover annual leave and sickness absence. Full training, induction and uniform will be provided and we also offer generous annual leave entitlement as well as a pension scheme.

The NHS wholly owned subsidiary will continue to offer NHS Agenda for Change Terms and Conditions, including NHS pensions, to staff who transfer as well as new staff it recruits itself.
This is a multi tasking role and includes cleaning, catering and porter activity over 2 days per week. Porter cover on Monday and Fridays and Domestic on the weekend for which enhancements would be paid.
Our facilities team members perform a vital part of our hard working team at the hospital and without them the Hospital would not be able to operate.
