A local educational institution in Fort William is seeking two Facilities Operatives to provide facility maintenance support. The ideal candidates will hold a full driving licence and have experience in building maintenance and facilities services. Strong communication and customer-focused skills are essential. The role offers a part-time position split over 45 hours, benefits like generous annual leave, pension scheme, and employee support programmes.
We are seeking 2 Facilities Operatives to be based at our Fort William campus.
The post holders will be responsible for providing efficient and effective facility maintenance support to the College, ensuring the security and general appearance of the buildings and surrounding areas are maintained in accordance with the required standards and that building systems operate at optimum efficiency.
The successful candidates will hold a full driving licence (occasional travel to other centres will be required) and have experience of carrying out routine building maintenance activities and facilities services provision. Basic IT skills, the ability to communicate efficiently at all levels, and a friendly, customer focussed and flexible approach to work are all essential in this role. A First Aid certificate and Fire Warden experience is desirable.
A level of Gaelic ability would be advantageous to your application.
