Job description

We are seeking 2 Facilities Operatives to be based at our Fort William campus.

Responsibilities

The post holders will be responsible for providing efficient and effective facility maintenance support to the College, ensuring the security and general appearance of the buildings and surrounding areas are maintained in accordance with the required standards and that building systems operate at optimum efficiency.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

The successful candidates will hold a full driving licence (occasional travel to other centres will be required) and have experience of carrying out routine building maintenance activities and facilities services provision. Basic IT skills, the ability to communicate efficiently at all levels, and a friendly, customer focussed and flexible approach to work are all essential in this role. A First Aid certificate and Fire Warden experience is desirable.

A level of Gaelic ability would be advantageous to your application.

Working Hours

45 hours, split over 2 part-time positions, Permanent
