Overview

As a Facilities Management Assistant, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping an extraordinary workplace by championing a proactive health and safety culture and ensuring the seamless implementation of our Safe System of Work. Day-to-day, you'll have the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build and maintain strong, effective working relationships.
  • Ensure all building systems meet legal compliance standards while delivering exceptional customer service and comprehensive FM support.
  • Join a small, high-performing team dedicated to keeping multiple facilities compliant, operational, and ready for service personnel training and development.
  • Carry out reactive repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Accurately report and maintain records, ensuring timely completion of job sheets.
  • Proven ability to schedule own workload and manage tasks independently, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all role requirements.
  • Hands‑on experience conducting minor repair works, with solid practical knowledge and problem‑solving skills.

This role is full‑time, working 40 hours per week, and is based on site at RAF Shawbury, Shropshire. There is an on‑call rota system element included in this role.

Qualifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Holds a full, clean manual driving licence.
Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
