A leading food service provider in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Manager to spearhead maintenance operations across multiple sites. You will ensure compliance and operational efficiency, lead a maintenance team, develop preventative programs, and manage projects from inception to completion. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in maintenance management, with excellent technical knowledge in engineering and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Effective communication with both engineers and executives is crucial.
Our UK & Ireland operations need someone who can orchestrate maintenance across multiple sites whilst keeping everything compliant, efficient, and actually working. You'll report directly to the MD and become the go-to person for everything from preventative maintenance programmes to capital projects worth proper money.
You’ll lead our maintenance team through the daily chaos of keeping production facilities compliant, operational, and efficient. That means building preventative maintenance programmes that actually prevent things breaking, not just tick boxes. You’ll wrangle contractors, manage the expectations of regulators, and translate complex technical headaches into plain English for the management team.
The capital programme sits with you too — spotting when equipment needs replacing before it becomes a crisis, building business cases that stack up, and delivering projects on time and budget (including our annual ESOS reporting, because you own that!).
Health and safety compliance runs through everything. CAA regulations, permit procedures, risk assessments — you’ll own it all whilst keeping everyone safe and the business legal.
