Job description
We are looking for candidates to work across different areas of the hospital. You may work within portering, cleaning or catering departments depending on the need of the hospital so flexibility is key.

You will play a key part in keeping the hospital running smoothly and delivering the highest standards of service every day.

Key Responsibilities
Portering
  • Safely transporting patients, equipment, and medical supplies around the hospital
  • Supporting clinical teams with moving beds, trolleys and other items
  • Providing a helpful, reassuring presence for patients and visitors
Domestics (Cleaning)
  • Carrying out cleaning duties to maintain infection‑control standards
  • Cleaning wards, public areas, offices, toilets and clinical spaces
  • Using cleaning equipment and materials safely and effectively
Catering
  • Preparing and serving meals to patients and staff
  • Supporting food service rounds on wards
  • Maintaining hygiene standards in kitchens and food areas in line with NHS guidelines
