Job description
Facilities and Housekeeping Assistant

Lagganlia centre for outdoor learning, Kincraig.

Salary: £24,796 – £25,041 (pro‑rata for part‑time)
Hours: 12 per week, 52 weeks

Responsibilities
  • Carry out general cleaning and practical laundry tasks.
  • Provide basic catering support for school groups and commercial/hospitality guests.
  • Maintain the facilities to a high professional standard and ensure they are clean, safe and welcoming.
  • Handle cleaning materials and equipment safely and conscientiously.
  • Support the a visitor experience that meets service standards and health & safety requirements.
Qualifications & Screening
  • Regulated work involving children or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
  • Required to join the PVG Scheme or obtain a PVG Scheme update check.
  • Overseas Criminal Record Check required if an individual has spent a continuous period of three months or more outside the UK in the last five years.
  • Unconditional offer contingent on satisfactory pre‑employment checks.
