Job summary

A recruitment agency specializing in engineering is seeking an experienced Fabricator Welder to join a client in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. In this role, you will read technical drawings, fabricate steel components, and ensure quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in precision manufacturing and a strong background in steel fabrication. The position requires working 12-hour shifts from 4pm to 4am, with a competitive hourly rate and additional shift allowance.

Fabricator Welder

We are recruiting for an experienced Fabricator Welder to work for our client who are in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.

The Duties of a Welder

• Read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Fabricate and assemble structural steel components.
• Perform cutting, grinding and welding tasks to meet project requirements.
• Use hand tools, fabrication machinery and measuring equipment safely and effectively.
• Ensure all fabricated work meets dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
• Operate lifting equipment i.e.: overhead cranes.

Essential Experiences & Skills

• Minimum 2 years' experience working within a high precision manufacturing background.
• You must have steel fabrication experience.
• Excellent communication skills.

The Hours

Monday - Thursday 12 hour shifts - 4pm - 4am

The Pay

You will earn an hourly rate of up to £#removed# an hour depending on experience.

Also includes £70 a week shift allowance.
