Fabrication Welder

Location: Birmingham
Company: The Best Connection
Pay Rate: £15.00 - £16.00 per hour (dependent on experience)

The Best Connection is currently recruiting an experienced Fabrication Welder to join a well-established and reputable operation in Birmingham. This is a hands‑on role ideal for a skilled welder with a strong engineering background who takes pride in high‑quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• MIG and TIG welding
• Stick welding
• Reading and working from engineering drawings
• Fabrication of components to a high standard
• Maintaining quality, safety, and workshop standards at all times

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' welding experience (preferred)
• Strong engineering background
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Excellent attention to detail and workmanship
• Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Working Hours

• Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
