Job Title: Fabricated Welder (Heavy Steel)

Location: Wednesbury

Pay Rate: £15.00 - £17.50 per hour (DOE)

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Overtime: Available

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Fabricated Welder with a strong background in working with heavy steel. The ideal candidate will be confident in reading technical drawings, fabricating components to specification, and delivering high-quality welds in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and weld heavy steel components to precise specifications.
  • Interpret and work from engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently (MIG/TIG experience preferred).
  • Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Fabricated Welder, particularly with heavy steel.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Strong MIG welding skills (TIG experience advantageous).
