Overview

We\'re looking for a Fabric Engineer to join our Cambridgeshire Facilities Maintenance team. This role is based in Cambridgeshire. Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 (some flexibility on hours available if desired; please let us know when you speak to us).

Responsibilities
  • Surveying and assessing building fabric elements across multiple facilities to identify issues and recommend maintenance or improvements.
  • Supporting delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborating with site teams and clients to ensure smooth delivery of works and exceptional customer service.
  • Producing reports and recommendations for minor works, scoping requirements in line with contractual KPIs.
  • Ensuring all work adheres to statutory requirements and internal policies.
Requirements/Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a fabric-biased maintenance or surveying role.
  • Hold a valid driving licence and be flexible to travel across sites.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload, including contributing to emergency response rotas.
