Job summary

A leading education recruitment agency in East Grinstead is seeking a dynamic Teaching Assistant to support young learners in the EYFS team on a temporary basis. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, providing individual support, and contributing to a welcoming classroom environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early years education and strong collaborative skills. This position starts in January 2024, working 3 days a week until July 2024.

Exciting EYFS Teaching Assistant Opportunity - East Grinstead

Randstad Education is partnering with a fantastic primary school in East Grinstead to find a dynamic and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant EYFS team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the development of young learners and gain valuable experience in a supportive and collaborative setting.

The Role
  • Full Planning & Prep: You will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans and activities that cater to the diverse needs of EYFS children. This will include designing exciting learning experiences that encourage exploration, creativity, and active participation.
  • Classroom Support: Provide individual and small group support to children, ensuring they are actively engaged and making good progress.
  • Observation & Assessment: Observe and assess children\'s development and learning, providing feedback to the teacher and contributing to their individual learning plans.
  • Positive & Inclusive Environment: Contribute to a warm, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment where all children feel safe, supported, and valued.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Passion for Early Years Education: A genuine love for working with young children and a deep understanding of their developmental needs.
  • Strong Planning & Preparation Skills: Experience in developing engaging and age-appropriate learning activities.
