EYFS Reception Teacher (Maternity Cover – Job Share) – Nottingham NG5
£800 – £900 per week pro rata, depending on experience

About the role

Connex Education is working in partnership with a welcoming Primary School in the Nottingham NG5 area to recruit an experienced EYFS Teacher for a maternity cover post in a Reception class. This role will run from after February half term until the end of the academic year and will be offered as a job share position, working 3 days per week.

The role will involve no planning responsibilities; however, you will be expected to carry out other classroom duties, including delivering pre-planned lessons, supporting children’s learning and development, maintaining a safe and nurturing learning environment, assessing pupils’ progress, and contributing to the wider classroom routine in line with the EYFS framework.

About the school

The school is known for its inclusive, child-centred ethos and strong Early Years provision. Staff work collaboratively to ensure children are supported academically, socially, and emotionally during their first year of school. The school is seeking a committed and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher who can quickly build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.

Assignment details

This maternity cover role will begin after February half term and continue until the end of the academic year. The position is part-time (3 days per week) as part of a job share arrangement. This is a long-term assignment with consistent working days.

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
