A healthcare team is recruiting experienced Phlebotomists/Healthcare Support Workers for ongoing positions in the Cumbria area. Candidates must have at least 12 months of phlebotomy experience, competency proof, and willingness to work at various mobile sites. The role involves 2-3 days of work per week with a competitive pay of up to £20 per hour.
Pulse AHP’s Phlebotomy Team is currently recruiting experienced Phlebotomists/Healthcare Support Workers to join the team for a role based in the Cumbria area.
These roles will be working locally in the Cumbria area providing Phlebotomy & Healthcare Research services. To be successful in this role you MUST have at least 1 year’s experience in drawing blood and have proof of competency as a phlebotomist.
This is an established programme that is looking for new candidates as it moves into its next phase.

Essential skills:
We are looking for experienced phlebotomists who also must have HCA experience to be able to work at least 2-3 days per week in a 7-day service. These will be long days working between 7.45 am – 6.15 pm, Saturday 8.45 am – 5.15 pm with Sunday hours being 10.45 am – 4.15 pm.
This position is available from November. Some of the areas we expect this to include are Carlisle/Penrith/Kendal/Barrow-In-Furness/Whitehaven/Workington. These roles will be available until at least May 2025
These will be mobile sites which will move around on a regular basis every 4-5 weeks so it would be very beneficial if you are able to drive and to work at different sites. We will also have a fixed site in Newcastle which you will also be able to work at.
These positions are available from November and the pay rate for this role will be up to £20 per hour (umbrella rate) with weekend enhancements.
