A reputable childcare agency in the UK is looking for an experienced nanny to care for a little boy on a part-time basis. This role requires at least 5 years of experience and a Level 3 qualification in childcare. Responsibilities include planning activities, supervising his older siblings, and managing a healthy meal schedule. The position focuses on nurturing development and requires the ability to work autonomously. A car is essential for this role. Starting in November 2026.
A warm and welcoming family are seeking an experienced nanny to support them with
the care of their gorgeous little boy on a three-day-per-week basis from November, as
mum returns to work following maternity leave.
The role will focus on all aspects of the child’s daily care, including maintaining an
established routine, supporting his development and leading engaging, age-appropriate
activities. The nanny will be confident planning outings and learning opportunities that
encourage curiosity, independence and enjoyment.
The boy has two older step siblings, aged 11 and 14, who visit every other week. While
they are largely independent, the nanny will be responsible for their general supervision
and safeguarding when parents are unavailable, supervision after school and in the
school holidays.
Dad works from home in a dedicated office space, though he travels regularly for work,
so the nanny must be comfortable working autonomously. The family hold a David Lloyd
membership, and the nanny will be responsible for managing the child’s weekly
schedule, including swimming lessons and classes such as baby sensory.
The role will also involve preparing healthy, nutritious meals for the child. A proactive,
organised and development-focused nanny will thrive in this position.
