Overview

Executive Team Assistant – Investment Management

We are delighted to be searching for an Executive Team Assistant with exceptional EA and research abilities to join a collaborative and non-hierarchical investment management firm based in central London. This medium-sized, approachable organisation is set in a village-like pocket of The West End, well connected by transport, and known for its warm culture.

This opportunity would suit a proactive, confident yet grounded professional who thrives in demanding environments, providing seamless support to both analysts and highly driven individuals requiring first-class EA and wider team administration.

You should bring 5–8 years’ experience in corporate administration, ideally within investment management, investment banking, or consulting. Expect a varied role involving classic EA tasks not limited to but including complex international diary management, global travel arrangements, expense reconciliation, event planning, conference registrations, and offsite logistics. You will directly support three senior leaders, enabling them to maximise their productivity and business impact, while also contributing to project research and ensuring the smooth running of the wider team.

The culture here calls for someone with humour, resilience, and the emotional intelligence to know when to step in or push back.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Can evaluate situations swiftly and make confident calls without needing constant input.
  • Spots potential issues early and offers practical fixes.
  • Is comfortable working with ambiguity and asks for clarification when needed.
  • Always stays one step ahead, anticipating what’s next.
  • Takes ownership of improving processes, problem-solving, and driving efficiency.
  • Is resourceful and able to track down answers and get things moving.
  • Navigates sensitive situations with tact and professionalism.
  • Keeps on top of details and ensures no task is left unfinished.
  • Adopts new tools and technology quickly (including AI).
  • Manages sensitive information with absolute confidentiality.
  • Acts as a reliable gatekeeper and point of control.
  • Knows when to question decisions or provide an alternative viewpoint.
  • Is self-motivated and doesn’t need handholding.
  • Invests in their own development and learning.
  • Has a proven track record in demanding corporate environments, ideally investment-focused.

In this firm, your contribution is recognised, your voice is heard, and excellence is both encouraged and rewarded.
