Job Summary

Senior Executive Assistant support to the Chief People Officer within the People Matters Directorate.

Key Purpose

Provide comprehensive, confidential executive support to the Chief People Officer, ensuring the smooth, efficient and effective running of their office while demonstrating the Trust’s values.

Responsibilities
  • Manage diaries and schedule, prioritising the Executive Director’s commitments.
  • Take minutes and notes of complex meetings and collate submissions.
  • Maintain action logs and manage multiple and complex diary systems.
  • Support the Executive Management Team, contributing to the delivery of the Trust’s strategic vision.
  • Act as a positive role model for executive support services, championing Trust values and behaviours.
  • Work autonomously, exercising initiative and creativity.
Person Specification
Essential Qualifications
  • GCSE English qualification or equivalent.
  • NVQ Level 3/4 or equivalent experience.
  • RSA III or equivalent experience.
Essential Experience
  • Effective management of director’s work scheduling, assisting with prioritisation.
  • Formal minute and note taking of complex meetings.
  • Timely and accurate maintenance of action logs and submission collations.
  • Management of multiple and complex diary and bring‑forward systems.
  • Significant Executive Personal Assistant experience at senior management level.
Desirable Experience
  • Experience of planning and projects managing large‑scale events.
