Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support its CEO and COO. In this hybrid role, you will manage complex calendars, act as a communication hub, and coordinate national and international travel. The ideal candidate has over 3 years of experience supporting C-level executives in fast-paced environments, particularly in the SaaS or tech sectors. This position offers a salary between £30,000 and £35,000 annually, depending on experience.

Overview

Executive Assistant – Birmingham city centre – hybrid working available (expected in the office 3 days a week).

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 p / a (dependent on experience).

Bell Cornwall Recruitment are delighted to be working with a multi‑award winning B2B IT service based in Birmingham. We are looking for an Executive Assistant to support both our CEO and COO. This is a high‑impact, critical position; you will be the executives' gatekeeper, organiser, and operational linchpin, directly enabling their ability to focus on revenue‑generating activities and long‑term strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Dual diary & time management – masterfully coordinate complex calendars for the CEO and COO, resolve conflicts, and prepare all engagements.
  • Gatekeeping & communication hub – act as the first point of contact for all stakeholders, manage inboxes, draft responses, and triage communications.
  • Board & meeting secretariat – support board meetings, leadership offsites, and key management meetings: prepare agendas, distribute briefing packs, take minutes, and track follow‑up actions.
  • Project & task ownership – follow up on all executive actions, ensure deadlines are met, manage small‑to‑medium projects on behalf of the executives.
  • Travel & logistics – coordinate complex national and international travel itineraries, including flights, accommodation, and detailed logistics. Will travel occasionally (2-4 times a year at most).
Ideal Candidate
  • Senior executive support – at least 3+ years of experience supporting multiple C‑level executives simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience within SaaS or tech/growth sector – essential.
  • Technical proficiency – advanced knowledge of Google Workspace and familiarity with Monday or other project management platforms (Asana, Trello).
  • High business acumen – ability to grasp the company’s model and executives’ strategic priorities quickly.
  • Organisational mastery & prioritisation – exceptional organisational and time‑management skills; juggle competing priorities from two leaders with flawless attention to detail under pressure.
