Are you passionate about ensuring that every child thrives and fulfils their potential by attending and succeeding in school regularly? Birmingham City Council is seeking a dedicated individual to join our Children and Families Directorate as an Exclusion Prevention Coordinator.
In this vital role, you will be part of the Inclusive Pathways team supporting schools and settings to prevent both permanent exclusions and suspensions. The candidate will assist in the brokerage of Early Help and Family Support in partnership with schools at the first point of need and provide advice and guidance on the exclusions process to schools, parents/carers, LA officers and others on the prevention of exclusion.
If you have a strong background in education including behaviour and preventing exclusion experience, family support services and excellent leadership skills with a commitment to safeguarding, we want to hear from you!
