Job summary

Wyboston Lakes is looking for an Events Supervisor to join the events team. You will oversee the execution of events and services across the venue, maintaining high service standards and supporting the floor team to ensure guest satisfaction.

Key duties include leading small event teams, deploying staff as needed, training new colleagues, and stepping in as Duty Manager when required. A hands-on, flexible approach is essential, with a 7-day rota including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Hands-on approach with strong customer service focus.
• Ability to upsell and motivate others to upsell.
• Clear communication with guests, colleagues and other departments.
• Support junior team members across service areas.
• Assist with staffing and deployment for events and services.
• Assist with training of new staff in day-to-day operations.
• Lead small teams during events to ensure smooth execution.
• Demonstrate quick thinking and problem-solving in a fast-paced venue.
• Strong organisational skills to meet deadlines and priorities.
• Capable of acting as Duty Manager when required to oversee operations.

Responsibilities
