Job summary

Marriott Leicester is seeking an enthusiastic Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead a busy hotel events team. You will oversee conference and banqueting operations, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and ensure smooth service across all events from boards to weddings.

You'll work 40 hours a week over five days, including weekends, with a mix of early and late shifts. Previous supervisory experience in hospitality is essential, as is a passion for service and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Previous Food & Beverage supervisory experience in a hotel environment.
• Great conversational skills and teamwork-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Act as a confident role model for all new team members with a hands-on approach.
• Run conferences and events from small meetings to weddings to suit guests.
• Liaise with event organisers to meet and exceed expectations.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences with the team.
• Manage the department, keeping it clean and safe.
• Share personal recommendations to spread passion for service and events.
• Train and develop the team to maintain standards.
• Support the management team to sustain high performance.
• Lead the team in the absence of the Conference & Banqueting Manager.
