EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We’re looking for a creative and organised Events Officer to join our dynamic Communications team.
In this role, you’ll support the Events and Experiences Manager in delivering a wide range of internal events and experiences that bring our culture to life — from recognition events like our Long Service and Awesome Awards, to our annual Leadership events where we host 1,000 employees over a few days.
You’ll be at the heart of our internal communications campaigns, owning the day-to-day running of our County Cup initiative and all of our event comms – ensuring all of our messages land with impact.
You’ll also help shape the strategy for our events and experiences portfolio, bringing fresh thinking and a passion for creating memorable moments for colleagues across the business.
We’re a collaborative, people-first team that thrives on creativity, innovation and making things happen. You’ll work closely with the wider Communications team, internal stakeholders, and external partners to deliver high-quality, engaging events that reflect our values and drive colleague engagement.
We value autonomy, trust and continuous improvement — and we’re always looking for new ways to make our events more exciting, inclusive and impactful.
We’re after someone who’s experienced in planning and delivering events or work packages, ideally within an internal corporate event setting.
You will need to be a confident communicator, able to craft compelling messages across multiple channels and adapting your approach according to the audience. You need to be comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
We want someone that’s highly organised, creative and proactive, with a passion for improving experiences and driving engagement.
You will be required to travel across the ST region for events, beyond our core office environment.
Working here isn’t just a job. You can build a career at Severn Trent. We’ll reward you for it, too. We have a range of benefits that recognise great work, and award-winning training to help you reach your potential. And we’ll also help you play your part in looking after the environment and the communities where we live.
With that in mind, here are just some of our favourite's perks that you’ll get being part of the Seven Trent family:
