Job description
Overview

Task Personnel Solutions are venue and event security specialists. We strive and pride ourselves on achieving success within the field of crowd management. The future holds a prosperous event calendar ahead, and we are seeking Event Safety Stewards to join our expanding teams, providing support at a variety of major and well-established venues. The role is primarily focused on customer service, so you will need to be confident and approachable with a polite and friendly demeanor. Our casual contract offers great flexibility, with the requirement to be able to work some Friday and/or Saturday shifts (not necessarily every week). In addition to local work, there are opportunities to work at venues and events further afield across the UK, from Scotland to the South Coast. There is significant potential for progression, including the possibility of training to become a licensed SIA Door Supervisor (subject to meeting certain criteria; TPS may support you with the cost).

Responsibilities
  • Provide customer service while supporting event safety and crowd management at venues and events.
  • Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor to assist attendees, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Be flexible with shifts on Fridays and/or Saturdays and be willing to travel to different locations as required.
  • Contribute to a safe and secure event environment under appropriate supervision.
Requirements
  • Confident, approachable, and polite with strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work on a casual contract with flexible shift options, including some weekend work.
  • Willingness to work at venues and events across various locations, including potential travel beyond local areas.
  • Interest in training to become a licensed SIA Door Supervisor (subject to criteria; cost support may be available from TPS).
Benefits
  • Excellent and competitive rates of pay dependent on experience
  • Plenty of shift availability with the flexibility to choose your own shifts and work around existing commitments on our casual contract
  • Ongoing development - access to fully funded industry-leading training modules and courses through our eLearning platform and onsite training, mentoring and development
  • Career progression opportunities - many Stewards progress to security roles and several management team members started as Stewards
