Job summary

A global staffing agency is seeking an Event Planner to support the organisation of healthcare events, managing both virtual and live meetings across Europe. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a bachelor's degree. This role involves liaising with healthcare professionals, maintaining compliance, and providing logistical support for various events.

Event Planner – Pharmaceutical Industry

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an interest in healthcare events and project management to gain experience across multiple therapy areas and support both virtual and live events across Europe.

The role
  • Support the organisation of advisory boards, internal trainings and HCP meetings (both virtual and live).
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals and institutions to manage consultancy agreements and documentation.
  • Ensure audit readiness by maintaining accurate project files and compliance with industry codes.
  • Use systems such as Veeva Event Management, Cvent, Asana and Apttus to track and deliver projects.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the events team – from calendar management to event material preparation.
  • Assist with budgets, expense reconciliation and compliance reporting.
  • Manage smaller internal meetings including venue bookings, travel logistics and catering.
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings and, when required, travel internationally to support events on site.
