  • Deliver staff briefings for events.
  • Ensure security of the premises, stock, and cash.
  • Record open and close stock counts and monitor levels.

General responsibilities can include:

  • Ensure that room set ups and break downs for all events are carried out to company standards
  • Deal with customers in a prompt and professional manner
  • Address any complaints effectively
  • Deliver staff briefings for events
  • Ensure the security of the premises, stock, and cash, following the company cash handling procedures
  • Record open and close stock counts, monitoring levels of stock and liaising with the cellar team
  • Follow the management pack to log any wastage or report incidents
  • Responsible for use of tills and PDQs
  • First point of call for dealing with issues on the day and liaising with the area manager

The successful Bar Supervisor / Manager will have the following:

  • Previous experience in Bar / Retail / Catering Events in a Supervisor / Manager capacity
  • The ability to empower and lead a team
  • Ability to build relationships and promote a positive work environment
  • Ability to identify strong team members and recommend upskilling
