Evening Cleaner - Dartford

RESPONSIBLE TO : Health & Fitness Manager & Cleaning Supervisor

MAIN DUTIES

The delivery of excellent customer services at all times to ensure customer satisfaction. To ensure all our facilities are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.

This post is for Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 17-21:00.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • The job of a cleaner is to ensure that all the areas of the club assigned for cleaning are kept clean and hygienic.
  • To complete all work as outlined in your daily cleaning schedule which includes but not a full list :
  • 1. Maintains public restrooms including male changing room facilities, ensuring that restrooms are fully stocked, counter-tops are kept clean, waste receptacles are emptied as needed, and floors are kept in a safe and clean condition
  • 2. Maintain male changing room facilities ensuring showers, floors, lockers, countertops, are all kept clean and tidy and stock is replenished.
  • 3. Check on all poolside facilities including indoor & outdoor pool areas, clearing any rubbish and removal of access water on floors, tidy and clean outdoor furniture and monitor members behaviour ensuring all club rules are adhered to.
  • 4. Areas for cleaning will consist of, Reception, Health & Fitness Club, Driving Range, Kelvedon Suite and Golf Changing Facilities. Other help and support areas are restaurant and outdoor patio areas.
  • Safely handle and store chemical substances and cleaning products and know how to properly dispose of waste.
  • Work with electrical appliances (hoovers, wet vacs for example) and make sure they are safe to use and stored correctly.
  • Keep up to date with BGL compliance training and comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Work alongside and support work colleagues with shift cover and be flexible within your working hours.
  • Create a positive and approachable impact on all our members and guest, greeting them with a hello or good morning / afternoon or evening.
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • You will be required to work afternoons and evenings.
  • You will be working in some cold, hot and humid environments.
