Job summary

A leading global pharmaceutical company is seeking a Data Privacy Manager to ensure compliance with data protection laws and drive best practices across Europe. This role involves acting as a strategic advisor, providing practical guidance on GDPR and emerging regulations, and embedding a culture of privacy within the organization. Candidates should have an undergraduate degree in law and 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector. The role offers visibility and influence in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience providing data privacy advice in a highly regulated environment.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical devices sector preferred.
• IAPP certifications (CIPP / E, CIPM, or equivalent) are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as a dedicated business partner for data privacy across certain business areas.
• Provide subject matter expertise on GDPR, UK GDPR, and emerging data protection laws.
• Develop and implement privacy notices, consent forms, DPIAs, and policies.
