  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts for the French entity.
  • Supporting balance sheet reconciliations and accrual/prepayment entries.
  • Assisting with payroll journals and liaising with external payroll providers.
  • Helping manage fixed asset registers and capital expenditure approvals.
  • Involvement in internal and external audit processes.
  • Supporting tax reporting and statutory compliance activities.

About the Job

This position is ideal for a part-qualified accountant looking to gain exposure to European financial operations within a supportive and collaborative finance team. Reporting to the European Finance Manager, you will be responsible for supporting monthly reporting processes for the French entity and contributing to wider group reporting activities.

Duties
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts for the French entity
  • Supporting balance sheet reconciliations and accrual/prepayment entries
  • Assisting with payroll journals and liaising with external payroll providers
  • Helping manage fixed asset registers and capital expenditure approvals
  • Involvement in internal and external audit processes
  • Supporting tax reporting and statutory compliance activities
  • Contributing to US-GAAP and local statutory bridging
  • Collaborating with Assistant Accountants on AR/AP functions and reconciliations
About the Successful Applicant

You will be a part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong Excel and analytical skills. Fluency in both English and French is essential, and prior experience working with or supporting a French entity is required. You will have excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively within an organisation.
