Job summary

Private Equity Insights is seeking an operations-focused professional to own the end-to-end execution of our conferences. You will supervise venues, suppliers, on-site teams and the overall attendee experience for 10 European private equity conferences annually.

You will shape our operational standards, grow with a high-impact start-up culture, and lead a 40-person volunteer team across multiple events. The role is based at our London HQ with opportunities to travel to conferences overseas.

Qualifications

• UK work permit is required.
• Training will be provided; candidates across different experience levels are welcome.
• Strong organisational and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Source, vet, and manage suppliers for conferences; ensure cost-effectiveness and high quality.
• Plan and coordinate events including VIPs, lunches, dinners, and after-hours activities.
• Coordinate with venue staff to lock in logistics and on-site execution.
• Provide on-site support to ensure events run smoothly and within plan.
• Hire, train and manage a team of volunteers (around 40 people).
• Review budgets and manage changes in advance of implementation.
