About the Company

They are an award‑winning fit‑out and refurbishment contractor, part of a multi‑faced construction and property group. With 80% of next year’s order book already secured and further tenders in the pipeline, they are well placed for sustained growth and success.

About the Role

As Estimator, you will be a key member of the pre‑construction team, playing a central role in securing profitable projects and ensuring accurate, competitive pricing. You will work closely with the Bid Coordinator, Commercial Manager and Directors to help secure fit‑out and refurbishment projects, with tender values ranging from £0.5m to £5m.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and assess new tender opportunities through portals, frameworks, and direct invitations.
• Evaluate tender suitability, risks, and commercial viability in line with company strategy.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates using first principles (labour, plant, and materials).
• Measure and quantify materials required for each project.
• Liaise with supply chain partners and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
• Prepare programme timelines and ensure estimating deliverables are completed to deadlines.
• Work closely with the wider pre‑construction and delivery teams to ensure alignment from tender stage through to handover.
