The school is a highly prestigious educational institution where teamwork and commitment are highly valued. You will be a vital part of the operation, leading from the front to ensure the site is safe, secure, and well-maintained, while working collaboratively with a supportive team who rely on your expertise to keep everything running.

From supervising the maintenance team and contractors, to overseeing compliance checks, portering, and hands-on maintenance tasks, you will enjoy a broad and interesting role where no two days are the same.

The ideal candidate will bring experience in estates, premises, or facilities management, a proactive and practical approach, and the confidence to lead a small team. Strong organisational skills, solid knowledge of health and safety, and a hands-on attitude are essential. Experience in a school or public sector setting is desirable but not required.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a genuinely supportive team in a role that offers autonomy, responsibility, and the satisfaction of making a visible impact every day.

  • Liaise with contractors and ensure external works are carried out to a high standard
  • Manage portering services, including set-ups for events and occasional evening/weekend work
  • Support energy management monitoring and contribute to minor project works
The Person
  • Experience in estates, site, or facilities management
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
