Role: ESOL Lecturer

Location: Greater Manchester

Contract Type: Temporary, Full Time (36 hours per week)

Hourly Rate: £35 - £36 per hour

Start Date: ASAP

Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Temporary ESOL Lecturer to join a dynamic team at a leading college in Greater Manchester.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality ESOL lessons across Entry Level to Level 2.
  • Plan, prepare, and implement engaging and effective teaching materials.
  • Support learners in achieving their academic and personal development goals.
  • Assess and track learner progress, providing timely feedback.
  • Ensure all lessons meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the ESOL department.
Essential Requirements
  • A recognised ESOL teaching qualification (e.g., CELTA, DELTA, or equivalent).
  • Experience teaching ESOL at Entry Level through to Level 2.
  • Strong knowledge of current ESOL curriculum and best teaching practices.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A student‑centred approach with the ability to engage and motivate diverse groups of learners.
Desirable
  • Experience working in a further education environment.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching and learning.

A DBS On the update service is also needed for this role.
