A leading clean energy investment firm is seeking a motivated ESG Manager / Senior Associate to join their team in Greater London. This role involves monitoring sustainability performance, refining data collection systems, and integrating ESG into investment processes. The ideal candidate should have robust experience in ESG aspects and leadership capabilities to drive sustainability initiatives. This role offers a contract to permanent position with no visa sponsorship available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in ESG roles, particularly in clean energy sectors.
• Confidence to lead and manage ESG-related initiatives.
• Ability to analyze sustainability performance and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze sustainability performance across clean energy assets.
• Refine and manage sustainability data collection and reporting systems.
• Integrate ESG into investment and asset management processes.
• Coordinate the Sustainability Committee and ESG governance activities.
• Assess ESG risks and opportunities of new investments.
• Support ESG improvements at assets post-acquisition.

We are looking for someone who has the experience and confidence to lead initiatives and be competent in all ESG aspects.

Role responsibilities, but not limited to the below :

ESGreporting and monitoring :

• Monitor and analyse sustainability performance across clean energy assets
• Refine and manage sustainability data collection and reporting systems

ESG Strategy and Implementation :

• IntegrateESGinto investment, asset management and divestment processes
• Coordinate the Sustainability Committee andESGgovernance activities

Due Dilligence and Asset Support :

• AssessESGrisks, opportunities, and maturity of new investments
• SupportESGimprovements at assets post-acquisition
