Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Hire Controller based in Avonmouth, Bristol. This full-time, permanent role is Monday to Friday 7:30am to 5:00pm, offering a salary up to £30,000.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Confident speaking with customers.
• Well organised with good attention to detail.
• Able to prioritise and manage a busy workload.
• Comfortable using computer systems.
• Positive, practical approach to problem solving.
• Experience in customer service, hire, logistics or similar beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Dealing with customers by phone, email and in person.
• Taking hire enquiries and arranging equipment.
• Managing bookings and ensuring equipment is available when required.
• Organising deliveries and collections.
• Processing hire paperwork and updating systems.
• Dealing with customer queries and resolving issues.
• Liaising with drivers, engineers and other departments.
• Keeping customers updated throughout the hire process.
• Helping to ensure the branch operates efficiently.
