Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland is seeking a Hire Controller to deliver a best-in-class customer journey, from enquiry to post-hire feedback, using product knowledge to upsell and build lasting relationships. You will handle inbound calls, emails and website requests, manage orders, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure accurate, timely service while supporting a busy, operational rental business.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Customer Service role, ideally handling inbound order or sales enquiries.
• Experience in hire or construction industry is advantageous.
• Ability to develop product knowledge and upsell opportunities.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Comfort with using initiative and working in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer enquiries from first contact to post-hire feedback.
• Handle calls, emails and website requests to secure orders and upsell where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate order records and monitor customer satisfaction.
