Please note that you must have the right to work in the UK. We cannot accept overseas applicants. You must have a full UK licence and access to your own vehicle for this role. We provide round‑the‑clock care packages to support people including children, young people and adults who have long‑term needs to live in the comfort and safety of their own home. We are looking for individuals to support our female client with Epilepsy who lives in Hemel Hempstead. It is important that candidates have previous epilepsy experience; this will help to enable our client and deliver person‑centred care. Our client attends regular social activities such as a gardening day centre on Mondays and Wednesdays, as well as singing and dancing at Electric Umbrella on Tuesdays and Thursdays, in which you will be required to attend. She requires support with all daily living and social activities. This is a fantastic opportunity to truly make a positive difference to somebody else’s life and to assist our client to achieve her goals and aspirations. Responsibilities
  • Providing personal care
  • Administering medication

Working hours are as follows:

  • Morning: 7am–4pm
  • Evening: 4pm–10pm

It is mandatory for candidates to commit to one shift every other weekend.

Qualifications
  • Previously experienced in supporting individuals with Epilepsy
  • Physically fit, calm, patient, friendly and caring
  • Good organisational skills and ability to work on your own initiative
  • Personable with a proactive attitude to work
  • Good communication skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Clean and tidy in both appearance and work habits
