A leading engineering company in Reading is seeking an Environmental Test Engineer for the Environmental Test team. The role includes planning and implementing various environmental tests to ensure compliance with high-quality standards. Candidates should possess knowledge in environmental testing techniques, data acquisition, and safety legislation. AWE are looking for an Environmental Test Engineer to join the Environmental Test team within the Engineering Trials Delivery Unit (ETDU) high hazard facility. Pay Range: £37,860 to £53,000 per annum (depending on experience)

The role responsibilities and accountabilities:
The successful candidate will be involved in the planning, instrumentation, controlling, implementing, and reporting of environmental tests and trials, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met and data provided to AWE's high-quality standards, some local training will be provided. Successful candidates will be expected to have a good knowledge of a range of testing techniques, including some of some of the following environments: thermal, humidity, pressure, drop testing, vibration and linear acceleration. Knowledge of test data collection and interpretation is required. Knowledge and experience of vibration testing is advantageous.
