A leading defence organisation in Henlow is seeking an engineer to join their Environmental Engineering team. The successful candidate will support design and testing activities, ensuring products meet environmental standards. A background in engineering and strong problem-solving skills are essential. The role offers a salary of circa £50,000 and includes attractive benefits such as a company bonus and flexible working arrangements.

MBDA has a fantastic opportunity for you to work in a UKAS/ISO 17025 environmental test laboratory on a variety of projects that will stretch your skills and imagination as an engineer.
Salary: Circa £50,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 5 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship (delete line if not applicable).
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:
Joining the Environmental Engineering and Facilities team, you will be supporting design and In Service Surveillance activities across the whole spectrum of the MBDA product portfolio.
You will be able to share your expertise across multiple projects while working as part of the wider team on solutions for technically challenging problems. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will undertake test of MBDA's products using a variety of test equipment replicating real life environments including temperature, humidity, shock and vibration.
