A governmental body in the UK is looking for an experienced Environmental Assessment Manager to provide environmental advice for significant energy infrastructure projects. The role includes preparing assessments and interpreting data, primarily focusing on offshore wind and solar projects. Candidates should have a degree in Environmental Sciences and relevant experience. This position allows for flexibility in location within the UK and has a contract from October 2025 to January 2026.
We are working with a central government department that requires an experienced Environmental Assessment Manager to join their operational delivery team. The successful candidate will provide evidence-based environmental advice to inform Ministerial decisions on nationally significant energy infrastructure projects under the Planning Act 2008. These projects may include both onshore and offshore developments, with a particular focus on offshore wind and solar.
