Job description

Environmental Advisor

I am currently seeking a Environmental Advisor for a High profile Rail project in Suffolk

Reporting to the Environmental Manager, you will be required to promote the pursuit of excellence and continuous improvement of environmental, sustainability and community relations aspects of the project.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Have expert knowledge in and demonstrate the requirements of the Environmental and Sustainability policies
  • Be familiar with and deliver requirements of the UK Health and Safety and Environment Policies and IFE programme.
  • Develop, update and review the Environmental Management System
  • Advise and support project team with managing their environmental and sustainability responsibilities
  • Promote continuous improvement of environmental performance on specific projects.
  • Provide advice, support and assistance to all project personnel to enable them to manage their environmental responsibilities.

To be eligible for the role you will need to have:

  • Degree in Environmental discipline or equivalent
  • Civil engineering and rail project experience

This is a freelance position.
