Are you looking to take the next step in your environmental career with a leading manufacturing specialist?

Irwin and Colton have been engaged by a well-respected engineering and manufacturing organisation to recruit for an Environmental Advisor.

This role will be central in maintaining and improving the Environmental Management System, ensuring environmental compliance, and supporting the site in meeting its wider environmental and sustainability objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Working with site teams to ensure environmental compliance and adherence to the environmental management system.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and permits.
  • Oversee waste management and help reduce waste and utility usage.
  • Report on environmental performance and highlight improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
  • A degree in environmental management/sciences or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience within the environmental/sustainability field, preferably within the manufacturing industry or related sectors.
  • Ideally, membership of a recognised environmental body (such as ISEP, CIEEM or CIWEM).
  • Strong communication skills and an ambition to grow and develop your career within the environmental field.
