A leading water services company seeks an Enterprise Data Governance Manager to lead its data governance strategy and team. This role involves championing best practices, overseeing data initiatives, and engaging stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a degree and senior experience in governance, along with strong leadership and communication skills. Circa £ 70 ,000 (dependent on skills & experience)
Permanent / 37 hours per week / Full-time (with flexibility for part-time working)

Lead enterprise data governance at Anglian Water
As our most senior data governance leader, you’ll set strategy and drive adoption of data governance and management policies, standards, and stewardship so data is treated as a strategic asset across processes, analytics, and regulatory needs. You’ll lead a team of Data Governance Leads and oversee internal and external data, including open/shared datasets.
You’ll mature governance operations (data quality, metadata/lineage), embed change through the data community and steward network, and represent the organisation in regulatory and external forums. You’ll identify opportunities for automation and AI that raise governance effectiveness without adding friction.
