Job summary

Actian is seeking an AI Enablement Lead to architect, scale, and own our AI enablement strategy end-to-end. You will build foundational platforms, tooling, and frameworks that let product and engineering teams deploy AI safely, rapidly, and at scale within Actian Data Intelligence Platform.

You will drive LLMOps, governance, and data pipelines, empower teams through workshops, and push PoCs to production with production-grade code.

Qualifications

• Senior AI/ML Engineer, LLMOps Engineer, or Software Architect with enterprise SaaS experience.
• Deep Python or Go, semantic search, vector DBs, and LLMs.
• Strong ownership: proactively building frameworks to remove bottlenecks.
• Software engineering rigor: CI/CD, AI testing, and containerization.
• Exceptional leadership and communication across multiple teams.
• Excellent English communication for business value translation.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain AI orchestration layers, gateways, and reusable frameworks.
• Embed prod-ready AI features into the Actian Data Intelligence Platform.
• Establish guardrails, evaluation, and monitoring for AI models.
• Monitor cloud spend and latency, optimize AI feature delivery.
• Lead cross-functional upskilling and create documentation.
• Drive PoC to production deliverables with scalable code.
• Standardize AI tooling stack from vector databases to caching.
• Evaluate vendor and open-source AI models to stay ahead.
• Define metrics to track AI enablement impact and ROI.
