The Work You’ll Do
  • Review contracts and manage areas where clients may need to increase their usage rate of Sovos compliance products by driving contract reviews of current clients and use‑case discussions to validate and determine the need for a compliance conversation.
  • Develop and manage a well‑rounded sales engagement strategy, including prospecting and a customer‑centric sales process, while planning territory and understanding clients’ solution portfolio.
  • Identify opportunities for teaching and thought leadership on topics that will add value for the client.
  • Grow and manage a balanced pipeline across your assigned territory, achieving account contract management business growth and delivering profitable new agreements while meeting and exceeding revenue targets and quotas.
  • Accurately forecast month‑to‑month and quarter‑to‑quarter, build a year‑over‑year track record of consistent performance and accountability through multiple contract‑management approaches, and manage complex agreements in large enterprises.
  • Provide accurate and detailed sales data in Salesforce.
  • Act with integrity, demonstrate ethical behavior, take full responsibility for ensuring both internal and external customer satisfaction, and communicate clear value and realistic implementation expectations.
What We Need From You
  • At least 2 years of account management and quota‑carrying sales experience (B2B sales experience preferred).
  • Consistently met or exceeded annual quota for at least two years.
  • Experience with SaaS solutions and environments.
  • A demonstrated track record of growing and retaining a book of business and exceeding quota targets.
  • Ability to present value‑based, consultative agreements by listening to customer needs and shaping a shared vision for a long‑term relationship.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially during difficult conversations.
  • Experience negotiating with procurement, legal, and renewal teams.
Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions

Requires minimal travel (less than 25%), both domestic and international to Sovos locations and events. Utilizes technology (phone systems, computer hardware and software applications) to fulfill work requirements. Must pass background/drug check and exhibit excellent listening and communication skills.
