Are you a passionate English teacher who thrives on making a difference? We are seeking an inspiring and resilient English Teacher to join a specialist provision supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Starting November 2025.

Duties as English Teacher:

Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3–KS4, tailored to a range of abilities and needs.

Create a nurturing, structured learning environment that supports emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour.

Work closely with support staff, SENCOs, and external agencies to implement personalised learning plans.

Track progress and provide constructive feedback to help every learner succeed.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS) and strong subject knowledge in English.

Experience teaching students with SEMH needs or within alternative provisions is highly desirable.

Excellent behaviour management skills, patience, and a compassionate approach as an English Teacher.

Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning styles.
