Position: English Teacher

Location: Salisbury, Wiltshire

Start Date: January 2026

Contract Type: Long-term (initially until Easter, with potential extension to July 2026)

Pay: £160 - £250 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking an English Teacher to join a secondary school in Salisbury. This long‑term position begins in January and will run until Easter in the first instance, with the strong possibility of continuing through to July 2026.

You will be teaching Key Stage 3 English, with someKey Stage 4 included on the timetable. Planning and resources will be provided, allowing you to focus on delivering engaging, high‑quality lessons that build students' confidence, literacy skills, and enjoyment of English. The school welcomes applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs). Overseas‑trained teachers with experience of the UK curriculum are also encouraged to apply.
