Overview

As an EAP tutor, you will play a key role in supporting students' and researchers' language skills development through group teaching, 1:1 guidance and development of resources. You will work closely with colleagues in library and student support and from both Falmouth and Exeter Universities. You will also collaborate across the universities to enhance the international student experience more widely. The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering in-sessional language skills support in a UK Higher Education environment and experience of teaching groups and providing 1-1 support at all levels of study and research. You will thrive on working and collaborating in complex environments and will have a flexible approach and a willingness to embrace new technologies and relationships. Alongside these key skills, we are looking for candidates with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Support students and researchers with language skills development through group teaching and 1:1 guidance.
  • Develop and resource innovative learning materials and activities for in-sessional language support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the library, student support, and multiple campuses (Falmouth and Exeter) to enhance the international student experience.
