Long -Term Temp – Jan 2026 Start

Gravesend, Kent

Mixed timetable KS3 / KS4

£140 - £220 per day

This very good secondary school, based in Gravesend , Kent, is looking for a teacher of English & Media to start in Jan 2026 . This role is ideally suited to a long-term temporary candidate.

The school has a strong English and Media department and consistently achieves good results. They are seeking an experienced teacher or an ECT to join the team, bringing fresh ideas and enthusiasm. The successful teacher will initially be provided with lesson plans to deliver in class.

This school is easily accessible by car and public transport, with ample parking available. Facilities and resources are excellent, and strong support will be provided by senior leadership and colleagues within the department.

To be considered for this English & Media Teacher role, you must have :

A strong understanding of the English and Media curriculum at KS3 and KS4

Knowledge of basic intervention techniques

The ability to inspire and engage students in the classroom

Experience teaching mixed ability classes

An innovative and creative teaching style

Willingness to embrace new teaching technologies
