Job summary

The Service Coordinator role in Redditch is a key position within a fast-growing engineering and technical services company. You will support field engineers, coordinate service delivery, and ensure a first-class customer experience throughout the service lifecycle.

Responsibilities include managing engineer schedules, handling breakdowns and planned maintenance, liaising with customers and suppliers, and maintaining accurate service records.

Qualifications

• Experience in coordination, scheduling, administration, or customer service.
• Experience in engineering, HVAC, plant hire, logistics, facilities management, or construction is desirable.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineer schedules and resource allocation.
• Manage reactive breakdowns, service requests, planned maintenance.
• Liaise with customers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Support operational planning to maximise utilisation.
• Maintain service records and documentation.
• Assist with compliance administration and training records.
• Support onboarding of suppliers and subcontractors.
