Job summary

The Pearson Whiffin Recruitment Group in Redditch is seeking a Service Coordinator to support field engineers, coordinate service delivery, and ensure a first-class customer experience.

You will plan day-to-day engineering services, including installations, breakdowns, planned maintenance, and off-hires, working closely with customers, engineers, subcontractors and internal teams to keep operations efficient.

We are recruiting for a Service Coordinator to join a fast-growing business operating within the engineering and technical services sector. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic organisation where you'll play a key role in supporting field engineers, coordinating service delivery, and ensuring a first-class customer experience.

As Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day planning and coordination of engineering services, including installations, breakdowns, planned maintenance, and off-hires. Working closely with engineers, customers, subcontractors, and internal teams, you will ensure operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineer schedules and allocate resources effectively

To be considered you will have/be:

• Previous experience in a coordination, scheduling, administration, or customer service role
• Experience within engineering, HVAC, plant hire, logistics, facilities management, or construction is desirable
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
