Job summary

HP4 Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Service Coordinator for an engineering company based in Birmingham. The role involves scheduling planned maintenance, coordinating engineers and subcontractors, and acting as the customer-facing contact to ensure timely delivery of services.

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, maintain service records, and support multiple departments to meet KPIs across national accounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Service Coordinator, Service Administrator, or Scheduling role.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule planned preventive maintenance (PPM) visits.
• Coordinate reactive call-outs, revisits and emergency works.
• Plan and schedule remedial works following PPMs and reactive visits.
• Act as first point of contact for customers and handle enquiries.
• Liaise with engineers to maximise utilisation and efficiency.
• Book all engineer visits in line with procedures.
• Monitor customer KPIs and communicate delays or challenges.
